The closest beach is situated at about 45 kms from the house along the road to Carrefour multiplex shopping centre so you can do your shopping on the way home. This beach ( Barcares) has an enormous market (300 stalls) 3 times a week, morning and evening.

With so many beautiful swimming spots, it seemed a little pointless to install a swimming pool at the house

La Peiriere
La Prade is situated on the outskirts of the village and can be reached by foot (20 mins) or car ( 2 mins)
La Pa cher may take some searching for It can be found a little further along the same stretch of river hidden away in a small wooded area
